Thank you for visiting our website! Westchester ENT is an otolaryngology (“ear, nose and throat” or “ENT”) medical and surgical practice offering quality specialty care to residents of Westchester County and its surroundings. Under the medical direction of Dr. Aaron Spingarn, our office has helped thousands of patients with their ENT problems. We see patients of all ages, and we accept most medical insurance plans. Our office hours conveniently include two evenings per week as well as Saturdays. We continue to welcome new patients into our practice and we are happy you are considering us.
We strive to provide the best medical treatment and the best patient experience. We listen to you and focus on your symptoms. We develop individualized treatment plans based on your problems and needs. We treat you like we would a family member. Whatever your ear, nose and throat-related problem, we can help. You are welcome to schedule your appointment today. For the fastest possible appointment, you should call us directly on an actual phone at 914.296.4497. If you prefer an online-assisted appointment, click on the “Book Online” button on the top right corner of the page and you will be taken to an appointment scheduling portal where you can request an appointment.
Have you received a bill that you want to pay online? Please click on the link at the bottom. You can pay online by direct debit from your bank checking or savings account. Where it asks for your Patient ID number, simply enter the patient account number on your bill. You can also pay by Venmo by looking us up with the name @WestchesterENT. If you want to pay by credit card, you can do that by calling the office (914.686.3950) with your card information. A special note during the Covid-19 pandemic: For all our patients, for the duration of the pandemic, the experience of coming for an office visit will be different than it used to be. This is for your protection, to minimize the chance of catching a coronavirus infection in our office. To start with, we are trying to prevent any patient from passing close to any other patient while they are in the office. This means that we will be controlling your entry and exit from the office, as well as how you move around within the office. Unless the patient is a minor or needs special assistance, the patient is the only one who should enter the office. If someone else wishes to participate in the experience, they can do so over the phone, such as by Facetiming or with a speakerphone. Before you come in, you will call our office from the parking lot (our building features free parking!). You will be asked whether you have symptoms of coronavirus infection (cough, fever, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell). When you are at the door, you will ring the doorbell and we will let you know when it is okay for you to come inside. Once you enter, you will be asked to keep your nose and mouth covered with a mask at all times other than during your examination by the doctor. If there is any concern based on your symptoms that you might be infected with the coronavirus, you will be asked to reschedule or have a telehealth visit. You can learn about telehealth visits in the next paragraph. If you haven’t already completed the office paperwork, you can complete it in your examination room, and you will then have a standard office visit. Once the visit is complete and it is time to leave, we will check to make sure there is no one in the hallway or reception area, so that you can leave the office without encountering any other patients.
About telehealth visits: Telehealth is a virtual office visit, which is done wherever you are, as long as you are in New York State or New Jersey. You will have a video conversation and a virtual ENT examination with the doctor, without coming to the office. We use the Zoom application, which you can download on your smartphone; or use on personal computer or laptop, as long as you have a webcam. You can start the process by calling the office (914.296.4497) and requesting a telehealth visit. At the appointed time, you will receive a call from one of the doctor’s medical assistants, who will ask you questions about your symptoms and medical history, just as they normally do in the office during an in-person visit. You will click on a link in an email we send you, and then meet virtually with Dr. Spingarn at the appointed time.
We also offer additional services to those who need them. If you need to come before or after our regular office hours for a more-private encounter, we can arrange private consultations. If you have an urgent non-COVID-related ENT problem but do not want to go to the emergency room, we offer in-office consultations at non-traditional times. If you need the doctor to come to you, we also offer in-person home visits. Call the office at 914.296.4497 to make arrangements for any of these services.
